Today, returning guest handicapper @switch123123 (Mike Mullen) is back with FREE PICKS & Analysis at Monmouth Park! We thank Mike for sharing his selections today on DanonymousRacing.com.
Take it away Mike…
I hope everyone has a healthy and prosperous Memorial Day and let us not forget what this day truly means, not just an extended weekend. With that said best of luck to everyone today.
Race 1: 3-1-6
#3 Seven Kind 7/5 ml but tough to look past.”Mitchell”runners are firing 1st up from Florida but now they are losing their value, this colt is too tough to look past.Chalky start to the day
Race 2: 8-1-4
Second time starter Payroll Account draws outside, not too much of a price drop, but should get a perfect stalking journey.I’m thoroughly intrigued by the firster Vinnie’s monster coming from a top pa jockey/trainer combo but just wish this guy wasn’t on the fence. Will be using both.
Race 3: 4-2-8
#4 Subtle looks ULTRA tough when you combine the cutback/in for tag move by Servis.Jersey Joe should have plenty of options with this mare on the lawn.
Race 4: 2-5-3
#2 Streakin Easy Love the gate drill 4 days ago in a very very weak field so any runner showing the littleist hint of ability caught my eye.#5 Dunamis is another homebred with some potential at huge odds and might be worth a look. Will be using # horses in pick 4 personally here.
Race 5: 6-3-7
#6 Monaguska took a 73 beyer breaking her maiden 3 starts back and since then has tried 2 turns and also caught a sealed racetrack since. The drop in for the tag might be all she needs and is back going 6f where she has a 373 Tomlinson.Should get an OK price as well
Race 6: 2-8-4
#2 Dimples gets some much needed class relief after trying allowance horses at Parx, previously tried open 40s at Calder.Jersey Joe takes the call for a not-so wellknown barn which adds to the appeal.
Race 7: 2-8-10
#2 Irish Politics will be making his 1st start as a 3yo and I believe today is the day owner/trainer evaluates for worth so I expect a maximum effort straight out of the box.
Race 8: 3-9-8
Second level starter al. here and I will wook for #3 ANGEL’S SOUTH to make a good impression. This 5yo mare is making her 1st start up from FL and Mr Bocachica will be getting the leg up.For those of you that aren’t familiar with this jock he is more than capable #TRUST
Race 9: 6-1-4
#6 SRUMDIDDLYUMPTIOUS had an absolutely adventuresome journey in her comeback try at Pimlico where she probably wasn’t all systems go anyway.Top connections bring her back in a small stake and the stalking journey just off the speed should be in store.I believe she will have enough left at crunch time.
Race 10: 3-5-8
BEST BET #3 Three Hearts, first off let me say Team Valor should be ashamed of themselves for pulling any stock from Motion so I don’t know the circumstances surrounding this 1 but in a race where the fav #8 Bella Castani will be Hammered at the windows I’m playing against.the confidence builder in #3 last should be enough to give edge in wide open field, acros the board her breeding suggests an affinity for 2 turns and on the cutback the interior splits of the race should theoretically be swifter to aid her closing kick.Meanwhile the fav here has NEVER been around 2 turns and prob be somewhere in the area of 3/5
Race 11: 9-7-8-6
Talk about a class drop here.#9 Toque is goin out 1st off the claim by Jacobson whose #s across the river are guerrerolike.2 things would shock me in the finale 1)if #9 Toque was to lose, and 2) if we get more than 4/5
