There’s no stakes, but ten great races this Saturday at Tampa Bay Downs. The first post is scheduled for 12:45 PM EST.

RACE 1 – Claiming $8,000, 3&up, 1 Mile 40 Yards
6 – Bosco Bob’s Baby – Can 0 for 42 trainer Peter Wasiluk get his first win of the meet? This may be his best opportunity. Nice rally two races back at this level. Centeno stays.
1 – Little Leo – Trainer David Fisher hasn’t run many at the meet but his horses are finishing in the money. Looking for his second win at today’s distance.
5 – Cabildo – His last out 64 Beyer tops the fields last out Beyers. Seven of nine in the money at today’s distance.
RACE 2 – Maiden Claiming $8,000, F&M 3&up, 1 Mile 40 Yards
5 – Love Like Mine – Showed some fight and ran a career high Beyer last out at today’s same distance and level.
3- Grafton Street Gal – Kathleen O’Connell’s Dublin mare showed some uncharacteristic early speed last out at seven furlongs. Moves back to a route and gets top apprentice Bracho.
2 – Bourbon Trace – Improved her Beyer by 20 points third off a layoff last out. In the money seven of ten times at today’s distance.
RACE 3 – Starter Handicap $16,000, F&M 4 &up, 1 1/8 Miles TURF
1 – Khaleesi Kat – Trainer John Rigattieri is winning his turf route races at a healthy 25%. This Afleet Alex mare has some back class and is third off a layoff. Expect improvement.
4 – Jermyn Street – Lately all he does is win. Nations and Ferrer are winning at a tremendous 39% together.
5 – Desert Folly – Nice closing kick. Should fill out the bottom of the exotics.
RACE 4 – Claiming $5,000N1Y, 4&up, 1 Mile 40 Yards
1 – Banco Dinero – Caught wide and was second best last time out while earning the field’s best last Beyer. Second off a layoff.
4 – Drop the Gloves – Runs in first dirt route of his career today. Earned a competitive 61 Beyer two races back.
2 – Love Tree – Recently gelded on February 18th. Was running Beyers in the sixties as recently as three races ago.
RACE 5 – Maiden Claiming $16,000, 4&up, 1 Mile TURF
1 – Put the Hat Back – Drops in class for his first turf route. Dam sire is Hat Trick whose offspring can handle turf routes.
7 – Ruckus – Nice rally last out at same distance and level. Third off a layoff.
2 – Recliner – Moves back to turf, gets blinkers, and is second off a layoff.
RACE 6 – Claiming $5,000N1Y, F&M 4&up, 1 Mile 40 Yards
3 – Scorpion Aly – Has now failed as the favorite in three consecutive races. Not good, but, Riggatierri is winning at 27% from sprint to route.
2 – Arabian Queen – Best late pace in the race and the most likely horse to finish in the exacta.
5 – Racinrosemary – If you toss the last two races the mare looks competitive here.
RACE 7 – MSW $27,000, 3yo Fillies, 5 ½ Furlongs
7 – Sibilant – Godolphin Street Sense filly trained by Eoin Harty and ridden by Pablo Morales. Bullet work at Tampa on February 14th.
2 – Mermaid of Honor – Majestic Warrior filly is making her three year old debut and should improve. Gets Centeno.
6 – Exclusive Express – Bullet work on February 8th. Will be making her third start for Gerald Bennett. Bobbled at the break as the favorite in her last race.
RACE 8 – Starter Handicap $16,000, 1 1/8 Miles TURF
9 – Celebrity Warrior – Derek Ryan and Centeno are winning at 25% together. In form. Nice maintenance work on February 18th.
6 – Takethattothebank – Moves back to turf where this gelding has been in the money two of three times.
3 – Sweet Soul Music – Given a bit a rest after stopping in last race on January 17th. Castanon hops back on for O’Connell. If he can have a trouble free trip he could contend.
RACE 9 – Claiming $8,000, F&M 3&up, 7 Furlongs
6 – JP’s Gladys – Trainer Feliciano puts blinkers on and makes the jockey change to Camacho with whom he has won four of eight races at the meet.
11 – Marie Joelle – Top Tampa connections of Delacour and Centeno. Won by four lengths last time she ran seven furlongs.
1 – Her Grace – Claimed last out from the barn of Kathleen O’Connell. In the money in four of her five races at Tampa.
RACE 10 – AOC $32,000N2X, 4&up, 5 Furlongs TURF
4 – One Lucky Step – Was the post time favorite in a $100,000 race on December 2nd at today’s five furlong distance. Showed little that day. Comes in off a rest with two nice works including a bullet on January 24th.
1 – Vici – Clearly the one to beat. War Front gelding is returning to the turf second off a layoff. Positive jockey change to Gallardo.
6 – Sleeping Giant – Enters today off a two year plus layoff. Former Tony Dutrow trainee has put in steady works for trainer 31% Keith Nations, including a bullet on February 9th.
