Race 8: #9 Sir Bond (3-1 ML)
Race 4: #6 Subcontractor (10-1 ML)
INDIVIDUAL RACE SELECTIONS
Race 1: 2-1-7
FEVERISH LOOT drops in grade after a fair effort in his dirt debut. He has trained on since and looks hardest to beat. THUG DADDY was entitled to finish closer last time after being briefly held up in the straight. YES I’M TRUE was unsuited by the slow tempo in the same race and an improved showing wouldn’t surprise.
Race 2: 6-7-8
SHOTGUN LOVE was softened by fast sectionals before she was nabbed late. Expect her to be prominent for a long way again. SOUTHERN SUNSHINE has been freshened after changing yards. STONELY HEART just missed last outing and should be hitting the line late.
Race 3: 10-4-9
BELLA FACHI found her rivals a bit too nippy over six furlongs and should appreciate returning to the mile. GINGEE held her ground behind Charming Eyes and gets the addition of blinkers. WARM HEART best of the rest.
Race 4: 6-2-3
SUBCONTRACTOR battled on okay on debut when urged along a long way out on rain-affected ground. Meets weaker opposition here. Stablemate SUNNY PUZZLE drops in class and looks the main danger. DOMINIC’S SMILE has had plenty of trackwork and should be competitive.
Race 5: 4-1-8
MATCHING SKIES controlled the race up front and drew away for a soft win. SEVEN STARS has been racing well in this company and gets the benefit of a handy claim. MY DONNA JEAN has had several luckless runs and should be kept safe.
Race 6: 10-5-6
GROOMEDFORVICTORY has been freshened after a pair of disappointing runs on wet tracks and can return to winning ways in an open race. LIEUTENANT SEANY O drops sharply in grade and must be considered. LUCKY LOTTO ran his $12.5k claiming rivals into the ground last time and comes into calculations.
Race 7: 1-4-3
There looks plenty of pace engaged in this which should allow IDENTITY CRISIS to run over the top of them. S’MAVERLOUS and INCA SAINT for the minors.
Race 8: 9-10-5
SIR BOND is up in class after a cosy win in starter allowance grade. He drops 5lb for this and looks the testing material. LOKI’S VENGEANCE races well fresh and resumes after disappointing in the New York Stallion Series. GREEN GRATTO best of the rest.
Race 9: 7-2-9
HUSHHUSHMUSHMUSH has proven costly for punters but he had excuses last time when covering plenty of ground. FICTIONALCHARACTER was no match for Doc Daneka and should strip fitter second-up. MANGOLD is still learning the caper but the rise in distance should suit.
